update statistics
Hi friends,
'Update statistics medium' is being executed from cron
at 11.00 pm. It takes about 5 hours. DB size is 25 GB.
Generally it executes successfully but sometimes it
gives following errors :
211: Cannot read system catalog (sysprocauth)
144: ISAM error: key values locked
sometimes it gives following error :
647: Error evaluating math library function
function-name.
There may be some users working on the system when it
is running.

This is because users are on the system. Try it with
LOCK MODE SET TO WAIT

Sounds like an Informix bug, which version of the Informix
server are you running.
