Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi,
I wanted to examine the current logical log file, (I was not logged
in as informix).
onstat -l showed the following:
a22e648 1 U---C-L 24596 100a03 250 247 98.80
a22e664 2 U-B---- 24590 100afd 250 250 100.00
a22e680 3 U-B---- 24591 100bf7 250 15 6.00
a22e69c 4 U-B---- 24592 100cf1 250 69 27.60
a22e6b8 5 U-B---- 24593 100deb 250 250 100.00
a22e6d4 6 U-B---- 24594 100ee5 250 79 31.60
a22e6f0 7 U------ 24595 101e75 500 500 100.00
so I typed:
onlog -n 24596 > ./blah
The onlog session just seems to be hung. When I do onstat - it gives:
INFORMIX-OnLine Version 7.13.UC4 -- On-Line (CKPT REQ) -- Up 8 days
04:42:30 -- 14832 Kbytes
Blocked:CKPT
The status of the onlog session seems to be sleeping(Forever)
What state is online in? , would an onmode -c clear the problem ?
Im using 7.13 on Solaris 2.6
Any help much appreciated
