I agree. I just put this in with Neil's kind assistance (via email). It does indeed work and I'd like to thank Neil publicly as well as endorse his message. FYI: Ours was a problem getting Informix 7.10.UD1 to talk to Powerbuilder 4.0.1. Hope this encourages... (About my Powersoft technical support message re: Powersoft will not support Informix 7.10.UD1 until Powerbuilder 4.0.3. Sorry if I appeared to be spreading misinformation. My intent was to caution you that Powersoft may not support Informix 7.1 until PB 4.0.3 comes out.) The problem is solved. The isqli501.dll shipped with I-NET 5.01 for Windows does not work. The trick is simply to copy a isqli501.dll from the I-NET 5.01 WF1 version or lower in to the c:\\informix\\bin directory and client/server connections will be yours. Do not refer to Informix support, because they blame Delphi, Microsoft, Thatcher, etc. Change the DLL for an older one. Don't ask me why it works, but it does.
