Informix CLI

I have been using the Informix CLI on both Windows NT v3.51 and HP-UX. My application makes heavy use of stored procedures so I was wanting to use the ODBC canonical procedure call. The CLI shipped on NT supports the {call myprocedure( parm1=test1, parm2=test2)} format and the HP-UX version of the CLI does not support this. Environment Details: 1.) CLI on both platforms is v2.5 2.) Informix is v7.01x residing on an HP-UX v10.x platform. 3.) Connectivity is NOT a problem. I can select and actually use the execute procedure syntax and retrieve data. My question is: 1.) Has anyone been succcessful using any of the UNIX CLI releases and the canonical call function? This feature is well documented in the ODBC Programmers Reference on page 55 chapter 6 section titled Procedures. The CLI reference shipped with the Informix CLI stops with OUTER JOINS. This works on NT but fails with a syntax error on UNIX. Thanks for your help, Ken Crismon kcrismon@sybase.com
