Ray There is a table in the sysmaster database called sysptprof which lists all open Tblspaces at that point in time. Along with the Tblspaces it gives information about the activity that is occuring on those Tblspaces such as reads, writes, seqscans, idxscans, etc. Note that attached indexes would not show up because they are part of the table's Tblspace. You could run this query several times a day or during a test run to gauge the table activity. The particular product we are running has a database with approx. 700 tables and we have very little information on table usage. Does INformix have a utility that would assist in this quest?
