ALL routines for SQL

I have a fairly sizable accounting application that was written in Informix 3.3 and C-language using the ALL routines. I have approximately 35,000 lines of C code. I want to move the package onto SQL so that any new programs can be written in 4GL but I don't want to have to re-write all the C programs in order to do that. I understand that Informix has ALL libraries that I can use to compile my C-programs and have them access an SQL database. I was wondering if anyone out there has experience using these libraries on a large scale and what problems you have run into. I am especially concerned about numeric problems (e.g. rounding differences) and overall functionality. (do not use reply - since I posted this through a news server - our news isn't up yet. I do have access to reading this newsgroup though.)
