Roman; You can use the executable "brand" in $INFORMIXDIR/etc. Here's the syntax: brand: usage: brand [-p] [-s serialnum key] file1 file2 ... Only problem is you have to know exactly which file(s) you want to brand. The cleanest way is to just run the install scripts again (installonline or installserver (depending on your version), etc.). Since you're going to change the serial number, you'll want to run all the "install*" scripts, and remember to run them in the correct order. HTH...
