Unknown error message 16118

Machine: Sun, Os: Solaris, Database: Informix SE 7.x When secheck is executed, it returns 'Unknown error message 16118'. Does anyone know what the problem is? This is a recently installed system. Also, in general, under what circumstances does an Informix utility spit out 'Unknown error message ....' In doing strings on secheck I see that there is are a couple of printf statements to this effect. Thanks for the help.
