web datablade issues with IDS 9.20 and DBI/DBD

Hello all, We have 2 informix databases, one on a SGI Origin 200 (IRIX 6.5.6) (IDS 9.14UC7) and one on a linux machine (Redhat 6.0) (IDS 9.20UC1). We are porting a lot of perl scripts from the SGI box to the Linux box, and are running into the following error when running our test script. I was wondering if anyone has any info on this error? Im really starting to wonder if DBD/DBI supports extended datatypes (html, etc..) thanks for any help...here is the output from our test script. I will comment what each line is... # the first line is connecting to our database on the SGI from the Linux box DEBUG---> connected to tsnops_ius@tsn_ius # here is the SQL query. The 99t.basetemplate is an app page builder AppPage DEBUG---> ran SQL query: SELECT WebExplode(object,'') from webPages where ID='99t.basetemplate'; # here is the error... I've answered this in the dbi-users mailing list. Yes, the problem is that it is an HTML data type and DBD::Informix does not handle such types.
