I don't know what you lot are worried about! You can get several UNIX shells and tools that run on NT. :-)) All you have to worry about then is OS stability. I find it strange that when a UNIX machine goes down of it's own accord, it's called a crash, but when an NT machine goes down of it's own accord, it's called a reboot.
