Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hello,
I am having a problem with ESQL/C on a Windows platform. The problem is
as follows:
$typedef struct { ... } X;
void foo()
{
$X data;
.
.
.
}
The '$X data;' statment produces and ESQL error of
esqlc: "fillin.ec", line 44: Warning -33014: Illegal use of record/structure 'X'
These are perfectly legal ESQL statements and I've been using them for years on
UNIX platforms with various versions of ESQL. Beside the obvious rant against
Windows, does anybody have a solution to this problem?
