Deleting/inserting all data in one Fragment ?

Hi everybody ! We are considering the use of Fractions (in Version 7.1) to segment our Data Warehouse on a weekly basis. 1. Is there a Way of Reorganizing only one of many Fragments similar to the old alter index to cluster ? 2. Is it possible to drop all data in one fragment, faster than 'delete * from tab where week=04;' ? Or is this by itself faster if one whole Fraction is deleted ? Similar statements now take up to 30 min (Version 5.01). 3. Is it possible to drop the index portion for one fragment, then load data and afterwards create the index portion again ? This seems necessary, since a load with all indexes existing does not fit in our Service Window and also leaves us with bad Index Structures (because of data order) ? There is no need for Transaction Logging, since the current state can easily be checked. The database itself has a buffered log. Turning off logging has not yielded any performance gains (rather vice versa). Is this altogether nonsense ? Don't let me down on this one, since it is my first posting.
