Re: Onconfig Tweak Problem
Posted in 2000
Art,
I don't have the shared memory entry in my onconfig file. I
think that is because I'm using NT. I believe I read that the
CPU vp's can only be tweaked in UNIX? But at least now I now
where to look for my max threads.
Even so, the error message was for PHYSFILE when in fact the
problem was the size of my LOGSIZE entry.
# Physical Log Configuration
PHYSDBS rootdbs # Location (dbspace) of physical
log
PHYSFILE 20000 # Physical log file size (Kbytes)# Logical Log Configuration
LOGFILES 32 # Number of logical log files
LOGSIZE 5000 # Logical log size (Kbytes)The LOGSIZE entry is now changed to 10000 and I no longer
receive the error message. I wouldn't have been so thrown off by
the error message, but it even said the PHYSFILE amount 20000
was wrong. At the time of the error, my LOGSIZE was 5000. Hmmmmmm
