You shouldn't be using that version; it was withdrawn before final release because of a problem, and the official released version was 4.12.UE1 -- or at least, that's what I thought. Anyway, the tss hog stuff wouldn't show anything because the 4.12 release was the first release with a complete fix for the tss problems -- it does not generate error -4518 under any circumstances. However, we did uncover some problems previously concealed by the -4518 error, and these were fixed in the 4.13.UD1 release, and the problems showed up as 'out of memory' issues. So, I have to diagnose 'upgrade time'. You should consider upgrading to 4.17, but keep an eye out for 4.20 which will have the DBCENTURY fixes necessary for comfortable use of I4GL into the 21st Century. (Older versions will work correctly, but they may not work conveniently; if you do not display all 4 digits of the year, you will run into problems because older versions of I4GL always add 1900 to any 2-digit year!) } We are an RDS only environment, so I can't compile the program and the } system doco for this error suggests that this is a compile time error and } that should I make my program smaller and try again. (....but this is } happening at runtime!!!) -4339 is a generic out-of-memory error for I4GL... Yours, Jonathan Leffler (johnl@informix.com) #include <witticism.h>
