Yes, I have Informix/bin specified in the path. This error typically means INFORMIXDIR and/or INFORMIXSERVER are not properly set at connect-time. Perhaps ADO isn't looking for the same Informix libraries as ASP is. What do your connect strings look like (ie, are there differences in them in the ASP and VB code?)
