Can anyone help me with this 2 doubts ? 1) I am using an INFORMIX-SE version 4/5 under SCO UNIX 3.2.5. The size of executable (.4gi) is getting very big. I would like to know if there is a way to avoid the "clear screen" that happen when you call a program from another one, like: main ... run "fglgo ..." ... end main 2) A parent process can communicate with its child through parameters. How can communicate the child with its parent ? One option could be through a file but it would be slow. A second one would be to include the share memory C functions (shmget, etc) in the runtime. Do you think it's worth trying ? Ant suggestion will be appreciated.
