I'm after some advise. Current situation: User 'fredn' can log into Unix host and run 4GL application User 'fredn' can access database via ODBC in update mode User 'pcuser' has been set up specifically to allow ODBC access in read-only mode I want to stop user 'fredn' accessing database via ODBC drivers, or if they do to only allow read-only access. Access via 4GL application and ODBC drivers may occur at the same time. Any suggestions?
Set up a role in the database side for 'fredn' and grant read-only (select) to that role. JEFF POULTON <jpoulton@civica.com.au> wrote: I'm after some advise.
