Is there a way to find the date of a schema? I have two different DB's and they are both modified by outside users. In an attempt to create a historical DB I have unloaded the contents of one DB but when I use the current column settings with older unloaded data I get mismatches. Any help on this would be appreciated Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

You can always compare the schemas, to see wheater they are the same or not. If you are trying to say that you have a date format mis-match that has an easy remady using DBDATE setting. -- Compliments of QueriX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QueriX 4GL Compilers are Informix 4GL Compatible, and Connection to other RDBMS such as Oracle. Not easliy, wrap your database DDL in some sort of version control, I use SCCS, and make sure that the version information is stored in the DB when a change is made. Then it's a piece of cake, you just query the database for the version of everything in it at a particular time. You then take this information and the SCCS files and rebuild the database structure. > > Is there a way to find the date of a schema?
