So, maybe the change was, if not correction, then at least standardization in Informix's view. Back in the three-dot-three-oh days, I wrote some C routines for report control in programs that used ALL-II calls. The function that equated to what became START REPORT in I4GL had the ability to force a page header, or wait till some actual report content caused a header to print. It was a handy feature, and not hard to do. It would be nice to be able to select either type of behavior in the OUTPUT section of a report, or with a clause in the START REPORT statement in I4GL. When I get back around to i4glmods again, I think I'll add that to the list.
