Informix se/sql 7.2x

I'm having a Problem with a recent conversion from an extremely old verson of informix to the newer 7.2 version of sql. The dates do not display in the querey/data entery mode...but if I output the results to a printer or file the dates show up....any suggestion. I'm haveing a rough time finding any information on this subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This may not have anything to do with your problem but; If you still have the old database running check the datatype. I had a reverse experience where the data would not show up using an old database to display data from the new one. I found that nchar is used in 7.x and 5.x did not recognize that data type.
