Informix and PAM on Solaris

I have configured my Solaris box to authenticate in an LDAP server using PAM. I can connect to the machine with the users on the LDAP server. My problem is that I can't connect to informix with the LDAP users. If the user is in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow everything works fine, but if the user is in LDAP than I get an error message: "952: User's password is not correct for the database server. No such file or directory" or: "952: User's password is not correct for the database server. Interrupted system call" Any help would be appreciated.
