HELP! Informix Dynamic Server 7.3

I'm trying to install a new IDS on Linux (RedHat 6.1) on a cooked
file. Everything looks right, but upon oninit, I receive the
following:
oninit: Cannot open chunk '/u1/naf_chunk'. errno = 2
oninit: Fatal error in shared memory initialization
Log reflects:
09:11:07 Informix Dynamic Server Stopped.
09:11:07 I/O error, Primary Chunk '/u1/naf_chunk' -- Offline
(sanity)
09:11:06 Action: Restore chunk from archive.
09:11:06 Results: Chunk 1 is being taken OFFLINE.
09:11:06 Who: Session(1, <removed>, 0, 0)
Thread(7, main_loop(), 0, 1)
File: rspartn.c Line: 6890
09:11:06 Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.30.UC7
/u1/naf_chunk exists and was created according to the install
directions, i.e. copy in /dev/null, set perms, etc.
All help greatly appreciated.

Which oninit command did you use? If you just copied /dev/null
to the file, then you need to initialize the instance -- a one time
operation. To do that, use "oninit -i"; if you've done it before,
you can say "oninit -iy" instead.
The error message is saying, rather cryptically, that it could not
find the information that it expected to find in your empty file,
mainly because it hasn't written anything to the file yet.
