Because there's a bug? I assume that there's a set of quotes
missing from 'WITH FORM "m_main_form"'; if not, then you need
to verify that m_main_form is a string variable with a valid
value on both machines...

I cannot immediately think of a circumstance where a core dump
is an acceptable response to an syntactically valid OPEN WINDOW
statement. That strongly suggests that there is a bug. Report
it to Informix via your support channels. The I4GL version should
be 7.20.UD1 or thereabouts, even if your engine is 7.24.UC5.
