I have an instance that has been upgraded from 11.50 through 11.7 to 12.10. Oat has been upgraded to 3.16 When I use Performance History / Auto Checkpoints I see 5 measures (Buffers flushed per second, Dirty Pages per second, Logical Logs Flushed per Second, Longest Disk Flush and Physical Logs Flushed per Second). However some resource on the web (eg. http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0807sudha/index.ht ml) show considerably more. They have the format acp_xxxx_xxxx. I am concerned that if I am missing these measures there may be many more that I am missing of which I am unaware. Did I miss some step with the upgrades? Possibly to sysadmin? The upgrades seem to have gone ok and there were no error messages. Ray
What you are seeing - under Auto Checkpoints, 5 fields with descriptive names instead of acp_* - is the latest version of OAT. You are not missing anything. The article you referenced is very old (2008) and we actually made the change to use more descriptive names way back in 2011. When we did that we also reviewed all of the fields shown on this page and removed any that were not useful to graph. For example, a number of the acp_ parameters you see in the old article are configuration parameters that do not change and therefore it's not useful to graph these values over time. So that's why there are less fields in this particular section of the Performance History page in today's OAT.
