Dear friends, I have an IDS 7.24UC4 on one AIX server (4.2) (server 1) and another IDS 7.31UC4 (with Online Optical and Optilink) on one AIX server (4.2) (server 2). I was trying to insert a document from server 1 to server 2). Both server for that document (table) has the same structure. I got this error when inserting the document: 271:could not insert new row into table. 7002: Cannot open file 'optical.iem' Do you know where i could get hold of this file (optical.iem). I treind seraching for the file but failed. Hope some could help me here. Thank you.

Likely in a subdirectory of $INFORMIXDIR/msg on the server #2 which has online optical installed. Art S.
