Huh?

I have an odd one, maybe someone's seen this? Program that runs an update against the database (batch), usually works perfectly. But, once in a while, the 4gl runner goes into a seemingly infinite loop on the last statement in the 4gl code, "close database". Facts: - Usually runs fine. - If it hangs, and is rerun, runs fine (same data, etc.) - Hangs on maybe one run in 20. - When it hangs, the cpu time for the runner goes wild, but the sqlturbo daemon seems quiet. - Can't see any activity via tbstat. - Last three lines of the program are display "before close" close database display "after close" and it displays the 'before' but not 'after'.
