Before you buy.
Just by typing in archecker at the command line, you get these parameters:
archecker -b -D -d -R -F -v -s -t -T -V
Version 4.3
Compiled 08/27/98 05:33 on SunOS 5.4 Generic_101945-49
=========================================
-b Direct XBSA access
-D Delete old files and EXIT
-d Delete old files
-F Retrieve list of pages off the archive
-P Read Performance - info only
-R Restart the checking
-s Print status message to the screen
-t Read the tape directly
-T Restart at a specific tape
-v Verbose
-V Version
The only documentation I know of came with the Backup & Restore class.
There are a couple of things you have to configure first like your
$INFORMIXDIR/etc/ac_config.std file which is set by an environment variable
known as AC_CONFIG. So set AC_CONFIG to the location of your ac_config.std
file and then modify that file before starting archecker. Here's a typical
command line execution:
archecker -tds
Hope this helps.
