Officials declined to cite numbers ahead of a pending January announcement but said the new pricing would be simliar to Microsofts SQL Server scheme." I seem to recall a few years ago they made a similar change in host-based licensing, causing howls of protest. I know some people got their old licenses grandfathered, because they screamed the loudest. Others just got stomped on by the big company that seems to regard crushing customers like ants as a good business policy.
