Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Does anyone know if/when Informix plans to implement a separate
username/password component for IDS 9.x on Unix which avoids having to
create an O/S login account? It's getting awfully tedious to kluge a
transparent, universal and anonymous Unix account supporting connection
for every web app we're developing.

I've never heard of anything. But of course, that means nothing. :0)
