Silly Q. How to add user to database?

This so silly I'm ashamed to ask it but I've been searching for a week for the answer. I just want to a user to a database and grant select, insert, update, delete and connect rights for this user. I've been searching the admin guide (and my fresh DBA Survival Guide) with no luck! Also, I would love to know where a log is kept for currently logged-in users and "login" accesses to the database. Silly, huh? Here's your answer Grant [ CONNECT | RESOURCE | DBA ] to [ USERNAME ]
Hello Dan, You don't add users to the database, all you need is to add the user to your system (Unix/Nt etc...) and than grant the privileges with a simple grant statement. You mast to have grant privileges . "onstat -g ses" will give a list of all 'ses'sions currently active in
the database. You'll see quite a few informix sessions out there....most
of these are the engine's sessions and are always there when the engine is
online.

Get and read the Informix provided documentation (should've come with the
product)...it is very very good.
