Hi, goto to "Host Information", then set the "Password Option" to "Password" and the "Password" to the appropiate password. This (the most logical solution) do not work on my PC. Why? I set the password in the SETNET utility but access still asking me the password!!! I have installed on the pc the 16 bit version on setnet (setnet.exe) also. Is this the rason? Hi. I haven't really worked with that client-ware before, but when we do some 'external' login from ie. access, we do the login and password-things in the ODBC-connection, and not in the Informix-client. You might try that to see if it works out even in you environment. Regards /Falco
