Hi Our application ran in 2 seperate server between application and db.The application using CSDK 3.7x. While for DB existing used Informix 11.7. The client insist us to upgrade the DB to Informix 12.1x. Base on studies, Informix 12.x have to use CSDK 4.x. Shall we stick to use CSDK 3.7 to communicate with IBM Informix 12.x. Appreciate expert advise.

You can stick with CSDK 3.70, and as long as the clients continue using the INFORMIXDIR from 3.70, all is well. Even unrecompiled, the programs will probably run with the 4.10 CSDK libraries. The preferred solution, though, is to recompile.
