Unusual GLS online.log error

I have a problem with IDS 9.40.FC5 on AIX 5.2. Has anyone ever seen this before: 10:40:29 gls function initgls failed, error -1212 10:40:29 (35552) connection rejected - too many users, or invalid username There are about 50 user sessions at the time this occurred, and we've had more than that on the server in question in the past.
