RE: Unusual GLS online.log error

Sorry, should have anticipated that question. These errors have appears,
always together, several times in the last few days. Also, the vast
majority of our connections are tcp (maybe 8 or 10 shm).
NETTYPE ipcshm,1,50,CPU # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype
NETTYPE soctcp,1,100,NET # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype

Would be good to see an onstat -g nta (or onstat -g ntu).
Is there any reason why you would want to limit the shared memory
connections to 50?
If you are not concerned about limiting connections for the shared
memory, and you want to give a decent setting to start the TCP
connections with (this will be fine for 250 or so tcp connectins) try :
NETTYPE ipcshm,1,300,CPU # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype
NETTYPE soctcp,1,300,NET # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype
Not sure why you are getting the GLS messages, but getting rid of the
"too many users" may resolve the GLS ones.
