Couple of issues with dostats.

Hey Art, I have noticed that if dostats catches an error it stops. OK that makes sense, I guess....why continue if you hit an error...but in this case the rest of the Statistics is missed. Any chance you could add a flag to continue on error? One of the errors was induced when I added the -e flag (expanded reporting) Oddly, it would throw a -201/Syntax error after tables that are obscenely wide (like me) By wide I mean that have snotloads of columns (74 in this case). I can provide details offline if you like... Right now I am outputting dostats to file and running with Dbaccess -e DB dostatsfile.sql Gives nice reporting and drives past errors, so no big deal. Thanks in advance for your help, time and expertise. Sam IDS10.00FC3R1/FC4 AIX5.3 Compiled with GCC Dostats Features version 5.10 source revision 1.110 ESQL 2.90FC4
I'll definitely consider such a flag, thanks Sam. I have fixed the wide table problem a few weeks ago. Updated source on the way to you directly. Art S.
