: The problem that you seem to be having is that Informix can not create
: the /INFORMIXTMP directory at startup. Are you trying to bring up the
: instance as root or informix? If so, it may be some type of permission
: problem under the root directory.
Or a problem with the permissions on your OnLine executables. onmonitor and
oninit are supposed to run as root (owner:root/group:informix, perm:6754 and
6755, respectively).
