dealing with informix

After 4 weeks of trying to get a tech support contract I gave up and gave it to my boss to work with Informix. The inability of their people to get back in a timely manner, makes me want to join the oracle team. Why can't they just get people to work thru the problems and get it done? I had a lot of trouble communicating my needs, and they are very simple. If it takes this much effort to get $$$ to Infomrix, how they will survive is a live question. End of Rant.
Edward, Do you have a case number? I could not find any recent open cases from Miller Freeman. Thanks Madison Pruet Edward Rosenthal wrote: > After 4 weeks of trying to get a tech support contract I gave up and > gave it to my boss to work > with Informix. Edward, I've just been in contact with Mark Drake who is one of the main managers for the North American support organization. If we understand you posting correctly, you've had some problems getting a support contract. Could you could email me a description of the problem, who the sales person is, etc.? We can then forward this to the appropriate people and try to get this resolved as quickly as possible. Support contract sales is not something that we want to reject. Sorry for the inconvenience.
