Is there a web site somewhere that shows step-by-step how to set up an ODBC driver on a win9x machine to access an informix database running on an AIX box? I'm talking about step by step setting up the odbc client. I have already installed INTERSOLV 3.11, but not sure how to configure it properly. Also talking about maybe a SIMPLE Just enough to connect to informix, select a database, and maybe select * from it, vbscript demo? c/c++ would also work. Even Visual basic would be ok too :) Thanks! :) -Tony-

Try WinSQL from www.imranweb.com (it's free) to check out your ODBC connection. It contains help for setting up the driver, too. Axel

James Edmiston wrote a very good article on the subject for the April, 1999, issue of the Washington, DC, Area Informix User Group newsletter. It's archived on their website.
