At first I was getting the -956 error which seemed to clear up when I coorected the entries in the "system32/drivers/etc/hosts" file and turned off LMHOST lookup. Now I get a -406 (not enough memory) which, in the release notes, says is returned errantly (should be -23101) when the locale_name is not set properly for the locale environment variables. In the case of NT351, it says to set DBNLS=1, COLLCHAR=1, LANG={locale_name} where locale_name is found in "lc11/os" directory. The only thing under "lc11" is "en_us" not "os". I've tried to run setup.exe on the informix CD under "locales", but the setup program reports that it can't find an installation of OWS on my machine!?!? So how do I install the locales? The documentation makes no mention of it. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dave McKienzie dmckie@metronet.com dmckie@nortel.com
