Re: HPL V7.23 UC1 (fwd)

Hi Mark, thanks for your help. The reasons why I don`t use deluxe mode are the constrains I have on the table (a lot of triggers) und the time it takes to load 40 million rows. I thougth that when loading in express mode HPL would by able to point to the rows with dup keys. O.K. it doesn`t. But it still looks like a bug to me, because of the wrong messages. What I need are partially disabled constrains and a deluxe load that takes 2 times longer than express. Or do you have an other suggestion? Because you need to use deluxe mode for constraints to be set to filtering. See Guide to the High-Performance Loader page 15-8: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ When the onpload utility starts a deluxe-mode load, it invokes the following SQL statement: SET CONSTRAINTS ON mytable FILTERING This statement has two results: o The utility adds two tables, mytable_vio and mytable_dia, to the database that contains mytable. o All of the constraints that are associated with the table are set to filtering.
