Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hello
What requires an Informix Dynamic Server Linux a desktop and/or a network
version of Linux?
Thanks in advance

If you want to use multiple connections or network connections, you need
a network version of Linux. Otherwise, you can get away with a
standalone system and one shared memory connection per database
program.
