Geeting the SID of a connection

Hi, We're running an Informix Dynamic Server on AIX. We access it through JDBC calls. We need to retrieve the SID of each connection as we open it. Is there any way to get this SID without accessing the system tables ? What I want is to open a connection, then send a command on this connection that will retrieve it's SID .
