IDS 10 on REDHAT 4 AS

I can not affinity processors with IDS 10 on REDHAT 4 AS (2.6 kernel) message is "can't affinity VP1 to phys proc 0" The same configuration of IDS 10 on REDHAT 3 AS (2.4 kernel) works fine Is this REDHAT or IDS bug?

Hi Stanislav, You are right that there is an issue! Unfortunately there is a change in RedHat 4.0 glibc which prevents this feature working! We will escalate this issue to RedHat and sametime we will implement a different call to sched_getaffinity and sched_setaffinity functions. If needed please ask your support organisation for a patch....
