Upgraded to 9.4UC8 Cannot find message file

IBM suggested I upgrade my 9.4UC7 to UC8 for an assertion error issue. My development server was running 9.4UC5 so I decided to try the UC8 there first. After installing UC8 I also reinstalled the CSDK. I cannot get past this message file not being found error. Now here is the kicker, I can install UC7 over the UC5 and it works fine. It is just the UC8 version that complains. My server is running Solaris 9 (Sparc). If it's earlier than the engine, you'll have to reinstall the IDS 9.40UC8 again on top of the CSDK. While the rule of TEN still holds for the most part, the last part of that rule is always install newer software after older software. Art S. Kagel

I took down the engine. I moved informix to informix.bak Made a new informix directory with correct perms Installed 4GL 7.32UC3 RDS stuff Installed IDS 9.4UC8 Same error.

This may be a known bug in this version.
