Hi,
I noticed that a lot of you have the same Problem as me
so here some answers I got from http://help.netscape.com.
1. PROBLEM:
==========
[DBNOTFOUND] No access library for libLWinf.so or libLWora.so or
libLWdblib.so.
SOLUTION:
========
The most likely reason is that library environment variable is not set to
include the directory location where these files are:
- for Solaris and SGI IRIX you need to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH,
- for HP UX it's SHLIB_PATH and
- for AIX it's LIBPATH (one word).
Solaris and SGI IRIX:
If you are running Bourne shell:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/enterprise_server_root/bin/https export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
If you are running C Shell:
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH $LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/enterprise_server_root/bin/https
HP UX 10.x:
If you are running Bourne shell:
SHLIB_PATH=$SHLIB_PATH:/enterprise_server_root/bin/https
export SHLIB_PATH
If you are running C Shell:
setenv SHLIB_PATH $SHLIB_PATH:/enterprise_server_root/bin/https
AIX:
If you are running Bourne shell:
LIBPATH=$LIBPATH:/enterprise_server_root/bin/https
export LIBPATH
If you are running C Shell:
setenv LIBPATH $LIBPATH:/enterprise_server_root/bin/https
2. PROBLEM: When connecting to a database from LiveWire, the connection fails
========== with the following error:
[DBNOTFOUND] No access library for 'mdb*.dll'
where the DLL name is:
mdbord.dll if connecting to Oracle
mdbsdd.dll if connecting to Sybase
mdbifd.dll if connecting to Informix
The DLL exists in the "ns-home"\\bin\\https\\ directory.
Why am I getting this error?
SOLUTION:
========
If you have downloaded the U.S. version of Enterprise server 2.01 for Windows
NT platform from http://test-drive.netscape.com any time before Feb. 13, 1997,
please re-download the software and reinstall. There was a bad version of
Enterprise 2.01 that was put on test-drive by mistake.
The symptom of the problem is that you get the above error message when try to
connect to the database, but the DLL is there and the path to
ns-home"/bin/https is included in the system PATH environment variable.
The problem only exists in the downloaded version of Enterprise server 2.01
(U.S. version only).
PROBLEM 3. : When connecting to SYBASE database, I get the following error:
======= [DBNOTFOUND] No access library for 'libLWdblib.so'
SOLUTION:
========
The LiveWire library for SYBASE connectivity on IRIX is *not* a part of the
Enterprise 2.01 distribution.
You need to download the file "libLWdblib.so" file from this URL:
http://help.netscape.com/download/libLWdblib.so
Then install the file in "ns-home"/bin/https directory (be sure the file is
owned by the server user).
Also be sure to check the LiveWire release notes for any setup requirements
for connecting to SYBASE. The LiveWire Release Notes can be located at:
http://home.netscape.com/eng/LiveWire/relnotes/irix-2.01.html
Hope this helps, :)
John.
