onperf questions on 7.24

We are a small Informix shop, short on experience.... Our platform is AIX 4.3.2, Informix 7.24. Where can I find more documentation on onperf? The Performance Guide has some info, but is limited. We have been trying to interpret graphical info on the on-perf supplied disk-activity tool. On our display, reads are red, writes are blue. What is white, buffer reads/writes? Also we want to be able to save history and change defaults, but the screen does not allow entry of a file name. We also seem to be missing a file with onperf defaults.
