I have several clientes with several users and other clientes with the same user using a Online 7.2 data base ... I need to know in a trigger or a procedure wich user or client has just touched a row in a table. Any idea ? Thanks ! -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
You don't know. (Since all the clients are the same user_id.) What you can do is create a user table and when you insert, you have an identify element in the row that tells who last modified it. (Not the username but the user id you created within the application.) This is one of the things which is different in Sybase since you can create unique users that have nothing to do with Unix users. -Gumby cnovo@my-dejanews.com wrote: > I have several clientes with several users and other clientes with > the same user using a Online 7.2 data base ... > > I need to know in a trigger or a procedure wich user or client has > just touched a row in a table. > > Any idea ? > > Thanks ! > > -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- > http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
