No, I meant the *UNIX* buffer cache, not the Informix one you see on 'onstat
-p'. It's a kernel parameter called 'dbc_max_pct'.

Yeh I know, I was replying to Neil Trubys post but suffered from
hand-mouse-pointer inaccuracies :o(
The dbc_max_pct is currently at 50% so thanks for the pointer, I'll
investigate this further.
