Re: message Can not open file csql.iem

I have this problem if the informix sdk is not installed correctly on a pc, or there is an old version of the sdk still on the pc that was not removed prior to the most recent version install. I don't know what platform you are working on though. Also, examine the autoexec.bat file if you have one and make sure the path to the informix bin directory is correct, on Windows sometimes it doesn't like directory names longer than 8 characters and doesn't support spaces either, you have to refer to "program files" as progra~1 in the path. I have even had to go into the windows registry and remove ALL references to informix after removing all versions of the sdk, then reboot and reinstall the newest ver. If you are on Windows you have to have $INFORMIXDIR\\msg\\en_us\\04e4 (or something like that) and there is file cisam.iem. Check your INFORMIXDIR env. variable.
