Though I have not done this, I have done extensive threaded programming with ESQL/C on Solaris. You must make sure you a POSIX compliant version of ESQL/C. If you are using a pre 7.3 version, you will need to get the special patched version of ESQL/C 7.20 since prior to the SDK 2.01 release only DCE threads were supported. With the latest release, the Client SDK 2.01 supports POSIX threads. Good luck. I would be interested in knowing how you did.
